Students petting a highland cow outside of Weaverville Elementary

Students at Weaverville Elementary welcomed a special visitor for a cow-lossal celebration to mark the end of the first nine weeks of the school year. Tucker, a highland cow from Lewis Farm Venue, came to meet and greet students. He was also there to help the principal keep a promise.

“It wasn’t as bad as I thought,” Mr. Harrell shared afterward. “His nose was pretty soft.”
