My name is Maegan Dauphinais (Daw-fin-ay) and I am very excited to join the Weaverville Elementary & Primary Schools as your new Music Education Teacher! Originally from New Hampshire, my husband and I moved to Weaverville ten years ago for the music, the mountains, and a lovely community to raise our children in! I have spent these past 10 years at West Buncombe Elementary developing a hands-on curriculum where students consistently participate in all aspects of music: we move, we sing, we create, we discover, and - most importantly - we PLAY INSTRUMENTS! I can’t wait to start making music with you this fall!
