Welcome to my classroom homepage!
I have lived in the Weaverville Area for most of my life and I have three children.
I am a graduate of Mars Hill College where I earned a certification that enables me to teach all subjects in elementary grades as well as grades 6-9 mathematics. I have my local AIG endorsement and have taught in Buncombe County Schools since 1999. The grades I have taught include third, fourth, and fifth. Changing grade levels has enabled me to have a better perspective on what's expected of the children as they progress through the elementary curriculum. Incorporating technology in the classroom is very important to me. I love teaching and watching students learn new things. I want to welcome your child to my room and I hope it will be a very challenging, exciting year for him/her.
